Often, in our rush to “own” we forget something important. Everything seen becomes part of us; there is no copy[wrong]right in that space. Sometimes it just shifts perspective ever so slightly. Tarkovsky’s films are that for me, they remind me that the thing on my wrist or in my pocket that divides life into discreet units is just that. It is not about time, it is about duration; it is about giving existence a frame that we all somehow agree upon.
