There are times where the sounds become a mantra, a forever loop of reverberations activating mind and spirit. This is where I feel I want to work to go. Mind you, this does not necessarily mean peaceful or serene. Or passive.

Not much to write this evening, spent the day playing with patches until I found the particular sound that was right the build the piece at the link.
Thinking of cyclic matters of all kinds. Circles.
Still working with material from my stay in Twillingate, the recent addition of a new tool has taken my work in an entirely new direction. The direction I have always wanted to go in. Slower, more transient, insistently/crashingly ambient. All my respects to Brian Eno, but I think ambience can be filled with tension. It is for me anyway, ambience is the thin line between controlled and out of control.
