This is the way point, the landmark to get outside. There used to be television antennae here (see http://bit.ly/181BnpS) but now satellites take care of the disconnection.

On hockey night, it was not unusual for young men to climb the 500 or so feet in order to adjust the antennae to improve reception. A chain of calls would direct… “a bit more that way”, “a bit more this way”, “perfect, don’t move”.
Connection is pretty relative really.

No automobiles.
20 minutes will get you from the ferry dock to the incinerator.
I took the glaciers quite a bit more time to carve this langscape.
